Me: Kim Roberts

Hi, I’m Kim and I have just started my blogging journey (November 2023).

I live in the beautiful (very green) county of Cheshire, I’m a wife to Lewis and a pawrent to our fur baby Dex (Doberman). I have 3 younger brothers, 3 nephews and 2 nieces…so a little male weighted and as you can imagine, I definitely have a tom boy side and potentially a little competitive when it comes to sport & games.

In my younger life I enjoyed horse riding, swimming and dancing (Ballroom, Latin American and Line Dancing – before these dance styles became ‘cool’ with the Strictly Come Dancing Reality TV Show).

I went to Cambridge (ARU) university to study drama and then onto Manchester university to study Digital Marketing.

I’m a Marketer

I’m a marketer and have been for about 13 years now, so creating content has been in my blood for a little while. My main area of expertise sits within digital; SEO, PPC, Data Analysis, Strategy & Planning.

Some of the industries I have worked within include luxury, fashion, fmcg stationary and office supplies, dental, apparel and accessories, fintech and property.

Do I have a favourite industry? I hear you ask. Fintech was a new one for me (although I’m currently working in another ‘new industry’ to me – new build property) and so It’s probably the industry that enabled me to grow the most as a marketing and communications professional. However, that being said, I do still very much enjoy ecommerce…especially if I get the opportunity to actually look at the products being sold…it’s like shopping without shopping. 😊
